 चेन्नई के 14 वर्षीय शतरंज खिलाड़ी भरत बने देश के 73वें ग्रैंडमास्टर 

- भारतीय शतरंज खिलाड़ी भरत सुब्रमण्यम इटली में एक टूर्नामेंट में तीसरा और अंतिम ग्रैंडमास्टर मानदंड हासिल करने के बाद देश के 73वें ग्रैंडमास्टर बने। 

- चेन्नई के 14 वर्षीय भरत कैटोलिका टूर्नामेंट के नौ दौर में 6.5 अंक हासिल कर चार अन्य खिलाडियों के साथ सातवें स्थान पर रहे।  उन्होंने यहाँ अपेक्षित 2500 (ईएलओ) अंक भी हासिल किये। 

- भारत के एम आर ललित बाबू ने सात अंकों के साथ टूर्नामेंट जीता। 


 14-year-old Chennai chess player Bharat becomes country's 73rd grandmaster 

- Indian chess player Bharat Subramanian became the 73rd Grandmaster of the country after securing the third and final Grandmaster criteria in a tournament in Italy. 

- 14-year-old Bharat from Chennai finished seventh with four other players with 6.5 points in nine rounds of the tournament. He also scored the required 2500 (ELO) marks here. 

- India's MR Lalit Babu won the tournament with seven points.
