पूर्वी चम्पारण को पूर्वी जोन का बेस्ट जिला अवार्ड 

- केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्रालय द्वारा तीसरे नेशनल वाटर अवार्ड की घोषणा की गयी है। 

- 2020 के इस अवार्ड के तहत पहला पुरस्कार उत्तर प्रदेश को मिला है, जबकि पूर्वी जोन में सबसे अच्छे प्रदर्शन करने वाले जिलों में बिहार का पूर्वी चम्पारण अव्वल आया है। 

- पूर्वी जोन में ही गया जिले की तेलारी पंचायत को बेस्ट पंचायत का अवार्ड मिला है। 


East Champaran wins Best District Award for East Zone 

- The 3rd National Water Award has been announced by the Union Ministry of Jal Shakti. 

- Uttar Pradesh has bagged the first prize under the 2020 award, while Bihar's East Champaran has topped the best performing districts in the Eastern Zone. 

- Telari Panchayat of Gaya district in eastern zone has won the Best Panchayat award.
